You can download the PDF OR Excel version of the Cost Form here:
Please read the Cost Form section of the program guide on assigning cost to the items used in the team's final solution. You only need to provide 1 copy of the Cost Form, but it may be multiple pages depending on the team's material usage. Use the same form as many times as needed and put the total cost on the last page.
One of the forms the Pre-Staging Judge will look at is the Cost Form. They will look over it to make sure that the team did not go over the allotted budget as described in the problem. They will try to match the materials listed with what they see in the props, backgrounds, and costumes they see. Remember that if a prop was used during practice, but is not used at competition, it does not go on the Cost Form. It's important to read the program guide on what to include and its value.
Bonus tip: We suggest having at least 1 extra copy of all your paperwork and giving it to another adult who is not traveling with the original paperwork. You never know what will happen on competition day!
